It’s that magical time of the year: bright lights, tinsel and packages. But where’s the romance? It can get lost in the holiday rush. That’s why I’ll be sharing a few seasonal Romantic Moment ideas to help you remind your partner, “you still matter.”
Have you seen the TV commercials with the green M&M portrayed as a lady with long lashes, luscious lips, go-go boots and a seductive demeanor. This is intentional. They are playing on an urban myth which originated on college campuses claiming green M&Ms are an aphrodisiac. They boost desire. Science and the company say no but the myth continues.
Why not turn this light-hearted myth into a Romantic Moment for your partner.
Place note and candy into a gift bag.
Pick up a bag of M&Ms.
Pull out the green ones.
Add a note about the myth.
Invite your partner to join you and give them the bag. Take turns feeding each other the green ones – slowly, intentionally, and with lots of laughter. I’d suggest having liquid available. It helps quench thirst you may experience.
A simple, sweet way to bring romance back into your holiday season.
