What accomplishment or victory has your partner achieved recently? Something where they didn’t receive applause.
Maybe something small but meaningful to them. Completion of a project? Asked to lead a volunteer group? Finished coaching baseball for the season? Completed weeding the garden? Organized a Zoom call?

Got it?
Now create a meaningful recognition, just for them.
• Create a playful Certificate of Recognition. Put it into a frame.
• Pickup congratulatory balloons.
• Add a floral or fruit bouquet.
• Include their favorite beverage ready to pour into the “special-occasion” glasses.
• Prepare a short toast honoring them and their accomplishment.

You could also expand the celebration with takeout from their favorite restaurant. Soft music. A trail of roses from the door to the celebration. Let your children join in.
Your message is,
“I notice you and am proud of you and your efforts”. And “You matter to me”.
Sometimes meaningful Romantic Moments aren’t about grand romances. Sometimes they’re about making your partner feel appreciated, celebrated, and deeply valued.
What accomplishment of your partner will you celebrate this week?
Robert
