Dolly Parton’s Chocolate Romance

Dolly Parton romanced Carl (her husband) by fixing his favorite foods. This included chocolate gravy. In fact she’d fix it for him on Valentine’s Day. Interesting. Can’t imagine it on my mashed potatoes or meatloaf. Evidently, it’s good on biscuits. I don’t know if it was one of her favorites, but that didn’t matter. She says she’s a romantic at heart and she romanced Carl with chocolate gravy because he loved it.

Does your partner have a favorite food? Maybe something a little quirky or unusual? When was the last time you prepared it at home for him/her?

My suggestion.

Get some rose petals or small paper hearts.

Find or make up a special occasion.

Prepare or get one of your partner’s favorite foods or beverages.

Create a trail of hearts/petals from the door to the kitchen. And greet your partner with an extended embrace and their special food.
