Does anticipation enhance a Romantic Moment?

Find a getaway location. Where you’ll go depends on your partner’s preference. A place in the mountains, near the shore or in the center of downtown activities. Could be somewhere local or a flight away. Make it somewhere they’ll enjoy for a couple days.

Now make it even more romantic.

As I’ve mentioned before, there’s no better way to start a Romantic Moment early than building anticipation. In this case, start giving hints a couple weeks ahead of time regarding where you’re going and what you have planned. Present them with a hotel room key you’ve created. Give a card with an airplane you’ve drawn. Leave a seashell for them to find. Make a list of appropriate apparel.

By the time you leave, you and this escape will have been top of mind for weeks. And any gift or activity you’ve planned to include will enhance this romantic escape.
