Is Valentine’s officially celebrated in Saudi Arabia?

The answer to the question I posed on my social media account, Yes it is.

For years the celebration of Valentine’s Day was banned and forbidden. Men and women who were not related were not allowed to meet; it was frowned upon if seen talking. Valentine’s Day is now public. Sales of flowers and gifts increase significantly around February 14th and restaurants in Riyadh and Jeddah openly promoting their services.
