How would your sweetheart react if you gently smacked them on the bum as you walked by?
I think you could be wrong.

No, I haven’t lost my mind. In a recent interview, Kylie Kelce shared that even after four children, she still wants her husband, former NFL center Jason Kelce, to sometimes “grab her a** and flirt with her” (her words, not mine) as he walks by.
Here’s why.
Many couples let the busyness of life and pressure to “act like grown-ups” crowd out date night. They forget to date their partner. And that’s not just going out on a date. It’s the mindset of dating your partner.
According to Kylie, “By dating, I mean the flirty, sweet affection — that type of thing should still be happening. That’s how you keep the spark alive.” She says she gives Jason grief if he stops flirting with her. And specifically, when it’s been a while since he walked and gave her a light-hearted swat on her butt.
Keeping Romance Alive keeps your relationship alive. One way you keep Romance Alive is by continuing to flirt with your partner.
• Gentle caresses.
• Knowing smiles and winks.
• Playful double-entendres.
• A suggestive pat on your partner’s derriere from time to time.

These flirts keep connections between you alive.
A couple questions to consider.
• Do you let flirting “interrupt” your day?
• Do you remember the last time your partner playfully patted your bum?
• What was your reaction?
If it’s been a while since you playfully flirted, maybe it’s time to bring flirting back into your relationship. It could be a positive impact on your relationship.

I challenge you to try this. During the next 7 days, intentionally flirt with your sweetheart. If your partner asks you what you’re doing, blame in on my suggestion that you flirt with them again.
I’m curious. How might this impacted your relationship? Let me know.
