Have you ever noticed couples at a restaurant for “date night”. Seated across from each other. Eyes glued to their phones. How romantic is that?
Here’s a simple trick to turn a restaurant date into a true Romantic Moment.

Invite your partner out to eat. Just the two of you. Someplace you both enjoy.
As you head to the restaurant, tell your partner you plan to leave your phone in the car. Ask them to do the same. If that feels uncomfortable, especially with kids at home, leave the restaurant details with the babysitter. That’ll help relax both of you.
If you’re worried about awkward silence, think about things you can talk about. Something lighthearted.
• A favorite memory you share.
• A place to visit together.
• An upcoming concert to attend.
Make the topics fun. Set aside responsibilities, to-do lists, and kids.
Just beware. You might discover yourselves reconnecting. And you’d like to make this a habit.
Could you go an entire meal without a phone?
