Remember the first time you asked your partner out?
Even if you weren’t the one who initiated the first date, think back to the first time you invited him/her out.
I was at LAX, loading luggage for passengers on my bus. My arms were full when I spotted someone I hadn’t seen since college. Without thinking, I clumsily asked for her phone number.
What about you? How did you ask your partner out the first time?
Here’s a simple Romantic Moment idea. Recreate that first invitation. See how close you can come to the original setting. Be a bit bashful. Maybe tell nervous jokes.
For an added touch, ask her/him out to the location of that first date. If not, create a similar experience. Maybe wear the same type and color of clothing. Then spend time remembering together as much as possible from the date that started it all.
Sometimes revisiting where it all began reminds you just how far you’ve come. And why you chose each other in the first place.
