He who can laugh at himself, will never cease to be entertained.
I might be generously paraphrasing James Carlos Balke, but the idea’s perfect for this fun Romantic Moment idea.
Think back over Romantic Moments you’ve created this past year. What’s the first failure that comes to mind? You know.
• During a romantic stroll, it suddenly poured or someone broke a heel.
• Food at a new, adorable restaurant turned out to be terrible.
• We showed up on the wrong date for an event.
• A child peeked around the corner at the most inopportune moment.
Remember?
Invite your partner to join you somewhere private. Your living room. In a park. Sitting in the car during a rainstorm.
Bring something snacks. Add your favorite beverage.

Once you’re relaxed and settled in, share several of these memories. Go slow. Let your partner join with their memories. No judgement. Just laughter, nostalgia, and connection.
Imperfect, unflattering Romantic Moment can become stories that connect you.
