The other day, I was again asked, “Do you test every Romantic Moment idea you suggest?”
Sometimes this question takes the form of, “The last Romantic Moment idea is something I can’t see myself creating for my partner. They probably wouldn’t really enjoy that. Are you sure it would work? And have you tried all the Ideas you suggest?”
The simple answer would be no. I don’t try out every single Romantic Moment idea I share. But here’s the complete answer.
Side two of the Romance Triangle is why I don’t use all these ideas on my partner. While all can be romantic, she wouldn’t find every one of them romantic. And you might not either. Each of us has a preferred way of being romanced. And couples often have different ways each prefers being romanced.

When creating a Romantic Moment for her, I consider the Platinum Rule of Romance. My partner might prefer to be romanced with the gift of my time. I look for ways of romancing her centered around focused time. We explore scenic drives. Watch movies snuggled on the sofa. Creating a couple’s massage Romantic Moment isn’t on her “romantic ideas” list.

When I create the Romantic Moment ideas, I understand different people have different ways they prefer to be romanced. And not every Romantic Moment idea will be ideal for you or your partner. But for some people, the Romantic Moment idea will work exactly as suggested. For others, it sparks an idea of how to modify the suggestion to make it work for their partner.
I may not test every Romantic Moment idea on my partner. However, you use those Romantic Moment ideas that meet your partner’s preference. Modify it as needed. And let these Romantic Moment ideas help you build your relationship.
