Imitate the Eye of the Tiger to Create Romance

What does the eye of the Tiger, Lion or Leopard have in common with romance?

I’m fascinated with “Big Cats.” Most of the time, they’re just hanging out with the pride, resting on tree limbs, lapping water to quinch their thirst. Lions affectionately exchange face-rubs with pride-mates. Tigers casually seek liquid relief from the muggy Indian heat. Solitary Leopards nonchalantly survey the savannah from their treetop perch.

But the eye of the Tiger changes when hunting. They zero in on their target. Actions become very deliberate. And when the chase begins, they don’t allow other animals, grass or terrain to interfere with their intense concentration. The eyes of the Tiger and all other senses are totally focused on their target.

What a contrast with how some approach their relationship. Especially when it comes to romancing their partner. Their attitude is:

  • If it happens, it happens.
  • Something important came up and I can’t.
  • Guess I should romance my partner, but….
  • It’s not t-h-a-t important.

In contrast, others approach romance with concentration like the
Eye of the Tiger.

They make time to learn how best to romance their partner.

They deliberately seek ways to romance their partner.

They don’t allow excuses to impede them from finding ways to create Romantic Moments.

These people know there will always be “reasons” (a.k.a. excuses) not to romance. But excuses undermine their relationship. And if they give these reasons priority, romance will slowly evaporate from their relationship. So they focus on finding ways to romance their partner. Regularly search for Romantic Moments ideas they can create. And don’t let distractions to hinder their pursuit of an extraordinary relationship. I encourage you to keep your senses open to Romantic Moment ideas. Don’t let distractions interfere with building connection. And focus on ways to keep Romance Alive with the eye of the Tiger.

Romance Alive has grown over the years and it has been cool to see. Thanks for staying the course on this important work.

The timely arrival of the product was appreciated. I followed the suggestions and my wife was surprised and excited. I am not a real romantic person. What I received was just what the doctor ordered. You will be hearing from me before long for something else.

Never before had I experienced such a meeting! In 2 hours we covered elements of romance overlooked by our fast paced life styles. I thought it may be a seminar on sex, but I was pleasantly surprised to observe that romance, thought it may lead to a sexual encounter, is NOT sex but has a deepening & enriching effect on the relationship. I think this seminar should be taught to our young people, college ag & married adults.
