Wholesale clubs are great places to find items at budget-friendly prices. They’re also a place you discover your shopping list is inadequate. You actually needed the additional $500 worth of items now in your basket.

Sometime while shopping, an item catches your attention.
You could use it. But you delay purchasing it, deciding to wait until your next wholesale club expedition.
And what happens? You return the following week and discover the item has disappeared.
Have you ever experienced this? I have.
Sometimes this happens in relationships.
We were given the idea for a splatter-paint session. It was a last-minute idea. And something we hadn’t tried before. Sounded like fun. But we decided wait and do it later. Delay until we could plan ahead. And guess what. The chance to create this Romantic Moment never happened. The opportunity disappeared.
When presented with an idea for a Romantic Moment with your partner and you’re tempted to delay implementing it, ask yourself these questions.
1. Is this something you’d enjoy doing with your sweetheart? If you thought about it more than 10 seconds, the answer is probably “yes.”
2. Is this something my sweetheart would enjoy? Don’t be skeptical. Lean towards positive reasons he/she would enjoy instead of jumping to excuses why it wouldn’t work.
3. Is there really any reason to delay taking advantage of this Romantic Moment idea? Question any “reason” to delay. Often, “reasons” prove to be excuses for procrastinating.
4. What could be the cost to our relationship if we don’t take advantage of this Romantic Moment idea and create another shared memory?

Truth is, I regret not implementing the Romantic Moment idea with my sweetie. I lament the lost opportunity. We would have had a blast and today still have the memories we created. Don’t procrastinate and miss a Romantic Moment opportunity. Implement it and don’t delay.
