Do you believe in luck for your relationship?
On July 7 2007, Clark county Nevada set records for the number of weddings performed on a single day. Across the United States, more than three times the normal number of weddings happened that Saturday. In fact, July 7, 2007, is widely considered the busiest wedding day in modern history.
Why so many weddings on that date?
Think of the date and Clarke county’s Las Vegas.
• Las Vegas is famous for slot machines.
• July 7, 2007, translates to 7/7/07
• On a slot machine,
• lucky 777 means jackpot.
People hoped they’d beat the odds by tying the knot on 7-7-7.

Now, I wouldn’t suggest gambling your relationship based on a lucky number. However, there is a “777 Relationship Rule” which could help you keep Romance Alive.
The 777 rule is a simple way to help you stay connected, cutting through the clutter of life’s demands and prioritizing the relationship you relish with your partner.
It’s simple:
• Every 7 days – go on a date.
• Every 7 weeks – take a short getaway together.
• Every 7 months – take a longer vacation as a couple.
Life’s routines and demands often squeeze out time for the two of you. The 777 rule helps ensure your relationship isn’t pushed aside by other priorities. It creates regular moments to stay connected. And keeps anticipation of the next quality time together alive as you plan the next shared moments.

Personally, I’d change it to 7-6-6. This cadence is easier to remember. And it provides more pauses for you (plural) in life’s routines. More time for your relationship. More time for affection. More time to be a couple. More time for romance.
My question for you is, will you leave your relationship to chance? Or will you let 7-7-7 (or 7-6-6) help you keep Romance Alive with your partner?
